The Modern Hotel

With three generations of family experience in the business, Elizabeth Tullis knows stunning design is never enough – guests have got to feel welcome.  And for partner David Hale, old-fashioned hospitability isn’t enough without great design.  Together they commissioned architect Dwaine Carver and interior designer Kerry Tullis to transform the old Boise GuestLodge into the fabulous Modern Hotel.  With a top-notch management team and guest services staff they are re making history.

The Modern Hotel is a consistent partner with the most stimulating happenings around Boise.  They have partnered with the True West Film Festival and Idaho Public Television and most recently hosted a modern art exhibit with an artist displaying work in an individual hotel room. The modern art event received over 5,000 visitors in one night.  This 1960s hotel has emerged as a luxury shelter for urban travelers and welcomes visitors to be a part of their history.
